Why PIFFERS
Ethics built into operations — community responsibility, codes of conduct and transparent monthly review.
The management of PIFFERS is strongly committed towards supporting community through a philanthropical approach. Corporate Social Responsibility is treated as a right of society on the corporate world to pay back to the deserving ones.
From the COO: SOS Children’s Village is the world’s largest orphaned-child charity. PIFFERS believes that support given to SOS Village is not a favour but an obligation of society — done with pride.
A further CSR programme collects used uniforms from security staff, washes them and transforms them into usable grocery bags for deserving individuals, so they can start earning instead of seeking financial support.

The PIFFERS Use of Force Manual covers warning devices and warning shots, disabling fire, obstacles and barriers, apprehension and search, prevention of escape and use of restraints.
Self-defence and protection of other people and property are defined, including denial of access, removal and disarming of intruders, carriage and storage of firearms by land-based guards, crowd and riot control, and non-lethal devices. Creating a use-of-force policy requires analysing risk and the security environment and determining levels of force that may be required.
