Kote is a Turkish word, means “The Place Where We Keep Weapons”. This word came to Sansikret from Turkish Language and then became a part of Urdu Language. Historically police station were known as Kotwali and head of police station is known as Kotwal. All these words are extension of the Turkish Word KOTE. As per the HSSE Policy of PIFFERS, We provide these weapons clearing drum pit. At the time of shoulder transfer of weapon, all guards conduct weapon clearing drill through this drum pit. This process ensures safety.
